The Rada appointed Taras Vysotsky as Minister of Agricultural Policy of Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada supported the proposal of Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky to appoint Taras Vysotskyi to the position of Minister of Agrarian Policy.
Vysotskyi was appointed Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine at a засіданні session of the Verkhovna Rada on July 16. People’s Deputies voted for the corresponding decision.
We will remind, the other day, while still a candidate for Prime Minister of Ukraine, Serhiy Koretsky announced plans to restore the Ministry of Agrarian Policy. Even then, it was known that he sees Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Taras Vysotsky as the future Minister of Agrarian Policy.
Also, People’s Deputy Olga Vasylevska-Smaglyuk confirmed in her Telegram channel the information about the intention to divide the current Ministry of Economy into two separate ministries – the Ministry of Economy and Ecology and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
On July 21, 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted Resolution No. 903, which decided to carry out a large-scale reorganization of the system of central executive bodies. According to the document, two separate departments were liquidated – the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, and their functions were transferred to the newly created Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine.
Earlier, USM reported that the Ministry of Economy had set July minimum export prices: rapeseed became cheaper by $40/t CPT.
