The transfer of grain cargoes on the western borders has increased
The volume of transfer of grain cargoes at border crossings has increased since the beginning of October.
Since the beginning of October, the volume of transfer of grain cargoes and cakes through the western crossings has increased by 40 wagons. This was reported by the deputy director of the department of commercial work of UZ Valery Tkachev, writes Rail.insider.
Thus, the total average daily transfer of grain cargoes in October amounted to 519 wagons per day. Currently, on average, 379.5 wagons with grain are transferred per day.
The volume of grain transfer to Romania was 132 wagons per day (+13 wagons per day, compared to the previous month). At the same time, the average daily transfer of grain at border crossings with Poland reached 122.3 wagons per day (+15.9 wagons/day).
At the end of September, the queue of wagons for the western crossings grew to 12,000 units.
