The Ukrainian Shipping Register has completed supervision of the dredger modernization

Specialists of the Ukrainian Shipping Register have completed technical supervision over the modernization of the equipment of a non-self-propelled dredger.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Shipping Register.
Specialists of the North-Western Department of the Technical Supervision Department monitored the work on updating the key elements of the dredger equipment. In particular, the modernization covered the drive motor of the dredger pump, the gearbox and the dredger itself.
The Register noted that the new drive motor is more economical and provides a lower level of harmful emissions.
The modernization was carried out as part of the shipowner’s measures aimed at improving the economic performance of operation and increasing the efficiency of the use of the existing fleet.
The Ukrainian Shipping Register carries out technical supervision over vessels and floating structures in accordance with current regulatory requirements.
Earlier, the USM reported that Ukraine had confiscated the assets of the Russian Shipping Register.
