The United States will give six more cutters for the Ukrainian Navy for free
The Ukrainian Naval Forces will receive six more Mark VI-class multipurpose cutters from the United States free of charge.
This was reported by the US Department of Defense.
The entire program is designed to transfer 16 cutters to Ukraine. The Pentagon’s decision stipulates that Ukraine will buy two of them (approximately $10.5 million each, and the Americans will transfer 14 for free).
Earlier it was assumed that Ukraine will buy 8 cutters, and will receive the same number for free.
