The volume of unloading of grain trucks increased in the ports of Great Odesa

At the same time, the increase in the volume of unloading in the ports is somewhat restrained by increased precipitation and frequent air alarms.

The average daily unloading of grain in the ports of Great Odesa increased to 964 wagons. Rail.insider writes about this with reference to the meeting of “Ukrzaliznytsia” with representatives of the agricultural market.

According to JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”, over the past week, the average daily unloading of grain wagons in the ports of Greater Odessa increased by 31 wagons and reached 964 units. In addition, the total number of accumulated wagons increased by 221 units. Currently, 4,273 wagons with grain are heading to the ports.

The average daily load of wagons in the direction of the ports of Greater Odessa reaches 1,008 units, which is 24 wagons more than last week.

As for the port of Izmail, the accumulation of wagons with grain also increased there – by 14 units. Currently, 560 wagons are heading to the port. At the same time, the average daily rate of unloading at the port of Izmail decreased by three cars and now amounts to 76 units.

It is reported that the growth of unloading volumes at the ports is hampered by temporary rainfall, frequent air raids, during which port personnel are forced to hide in bomb shelters, and regular attacks on energy and port infrastructure.

As USM wrote the day before, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is increasing maritime exports.
