Two bulk carriers with coal for DTEK will call Ukrainian ports this week

One consignment will arrive at the port of Chornomorsk, the other – at the port of Pivdennyi. In total, bulk carriers will deliver 150 thousand tons of thermal coal to Ukraine.

This was reported by the press service of DTEK.

“Tomorrow (December 24th – ed.) The first vessel with 75 thousand tons of coal originating from Colombia arrives at the port of Chornomorsk. The second, with 72 thousand tons of fuel from the United States, will be moored at the TIS port at the weekend,” the company said.

Еще два судна с законтрактованным импортным углем должны прибыть в Украину в январе. Таким образом, ДТЭК получит в целом 8 судов с углем. Кроме того, компания договорилась о девятом панамаксе.

“To date, DTEK has increased the total amount of coal supplies by sea to 9 vessels. This is about 618 thousand tons of coal for the needs of Ukrainian thermal power plants. The first vessel contracted by the company for the needs of state-owned TPPs Centrenergo arrived in Ukraine on November 20th. The second, third and fourth panamaxes, for the needs of DTEK Energo TPPs, arrived on December 5th, 16th and 17th,” DTEK recalled.
