Ukraine and Moldova will simplify border crossing for trucks
Ukraine and Moldova have signed a number of protocols that will simplify and reduce the time of crossing the common border.
The protocols were signed during an online meeting between Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and Prime Minister of Moldova Dorin Rechan, the gonernment website reported.
“Today’s agreements will not only intensify trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and Moldova, but will also increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the border’s capacity using the best European practices. The latter is particularly important in the context of our joint movement towards the European Union,” stressed Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
He also noted that Ukraine is interested in extending the practice of joint control to all checkpoints with neighboring European countries.
