On the night of April 30, 2026, the forces and assets of the Ukrainian Navy struck Russian boats in the Kerch Strait area. This was reported by the Navy press service.
As a result of the strike, the Russian FSB patrol boat “Sobol” and the anti-sabotage boat “Grachonok” were hit.
“As a result of the strike, the enemy suffered irreparable and sanitary losses,” the Navy noted.
According to the military, these boats belong to key coastal guard units of the FSB Border Service and the Russian Navy and are used to guard the Kerch Bridge, as well as to counter sabotage threats.
The Navy emphasized that the destruction of such targets is part of the systematic work to reduce the capabilities of Russian forces in the Black Sea.
Also, the day before, USM wrote that the Ukrainian Navy had hit a sanctioned tanker near Tuapse.
