UZ has updated the terms of cargo delivery to Moldova
The new formation plan for cargo transportation came into effect on April 9.
Starting from April 9, “Ukrzaliznytsia” changed the formation plan for cargo transportation from/to Moldova. This is reported by Rail.insider.
The day before, the railway of Moldova appealed to the UZ with a request to change the train formation plan. So, for cargo going from and to Moldova, the old formation plan will return (that is, not through the Kuchurgan-Novosavitska crossing, but others).
“Only transit cargo will move through Kuchurgan. That is, there have been changes in the train flow and formation plan. We have already issued the relevant order and are already working according to the updated formation plan,” commented Valery Tkachev, deputy director of the commercial work department of Ukrzaliznytsia JSC.
As USM recently wrote, a new railway terminal was built on the Romanian-Ukrainian border.
