UZ increases oil exports to Hungary
JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” sent more than 180 wagons with oil to the border crossing “Batyovo – Epereshke”.
“Ukrzaliznytsia” is diversifying the directions of export transportation. This was reported by Valery Tkachov, Deputy Director of the Department of Commercial Work of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”, writes Rail.insider.
In particular, the number of wagons with oil heading to the Batyovo – Epereshke crossing on the border with Hungary has increased.
Currently, 184 wagons with vegetable oil are heading in the direction of the Batyovo-Epereshke border crossing. On the other hand, only about 600 wagons with oil go to the Polish crossing “Izov – Hrubeszów”. It is worth noting that the UZ implemented a convention for loading in this direction.
In view of the difficult situation with the transfer of goods through Polish border crossings, Tkachev called on oil shippers to reorient their goods to Hungary. In particular, we are talking about the crossings “Batyovo – Epereshke” and “Chop – Zahon”.
USM recently wrote that the UDS will direct exports through the Danube to bypass the border with Poland.
The day before, “Ukrzaliznytsia” commented on the incident with scattered grain on the Polish border.
