45 million tons of goods were exported through the Ukrainian sea corridor in almost nine months.

Since the start of the maritime corridor, almost 1,600 ships have exported 45 million tons of cargo to 44 countries, the Ministry of Reconstruction of Ukraine reports.

“These are mainly products of Ukrainian farmers for world food markets. Despite everything, Ukraine remains a top exporter of agricultural products and a guarantor of food security,” the message reads.

In almost 9 months of operation of the corridor, 38 countries of the world received more than 30 million tons of products of Ukrainian farmers.

It should be noted that currently there are 108 ships approaching the ports that export more than 3 million tons of cargo.

As previously reported by USM, since the beginning of May, Ukraine has exported more than 1 million tons of grain.
