The Ministry of Agrarian Policy told at what stage the oil pipeline project in Poland is at
The construction of the oil pipeline from Ukraine to Poland has not been stopped, and at this time Poland is agreeing on the way of its laying.
The Ministry of Agricultural Policy hopes that the European Commission’s proposal to ban the import of Ukrainian oil to Poland will not affect the implementation of the project, writes LIGA.net.
“We hope that nothing will be affected. Internal Polish procedures related to the approval of the construction route are currently underway. Since this is a complex procedure, many communities and environmental norms are affected,” the ministry said.
It was previously reported that the pipeline should run from the Yagodina district (Volyn Oblast) to Gdańsk.
As a reminder, on September 7, 2022, Ukraine and Poland signed a Memorandum on the project to build a cross-border pipeline through which Ukrainian vegetable oil will be transported. First of all, it is planned to transport sunflower oil and, to a lesser extent, rapeseed and soybean oil.
