Last week, only 4 ships were shipped to the ports of Great Odesa

From May 22 to 28, only 4 ships left the ports of Great Odesa (as well as the week before), and 15 ships passed inspection at the entrance.

“With such indicators, it will be extremely difficult to export surplus products located on the territory of Ukraine before the start of the new harvest. The Russian side continues to slow down the work of this export channel,” the Ukrainian Agrarian Business Club noted .

In total, during the 43rd week of work, 210.5 thousand tons of agricultural products were exported through the sea ports of the Odesa region. There is an increase, but these are minimal shipments compared to the potential of the “grain corridor”, noted the UCAB.

During the week, the largest share of exports was corn (91%) and barley (9%). Ukrainian products went to the countries of Asia (China), Europe (Spain) and Africa (Egypt).

A total of 30.5 million tons of agricultural products were exported from August 1, 2022 to May 28, 2023, since the start of the “grain corridor”.
