A ship with stolen Ukrainian grain is not accepted even in Turkey
The Turkish ship Sword Lion with stolen Ukrainian grain was not accepted in the ports of Israel and Cyprus. The bulk carrierwent to Turkey, but there, as well, they are in no hurry to let him to the port.
It will be recalled that the Sword Lion ship was loaded with stolen Ukrainian grain brought from the ports of the occupied Crimea, according to the investigation of the SeaKrime project.
The bulker accepted the grain during raid transshipment in the port of Kavkaz from the offending ship Akubens.
The stolen grain was supposed to be sent to Israel, but in Haifa, after 6 days of waiting, the ship was never accepted. Sword Lion then went to Cyprus, but the ship was also turned away at the port of Famagusta.
Last week, the ship headed to the Turkish port of Iskenderun, where it has been waiting for 6 days, reported the journalist of “Mirotvorets” Kateryna Yaresko.
“We hope that Turkey will not accept stolen Ukrainian grain either,” Yaresko commented.
Currently, the Turkish vessel contains grain of Ukrainian origin, which was exported in violation of the state border of Ukraine, without complying with the necessary customs procedures. It is, in fact, contraband. It is possible that the grain is related to Russia’s crimes in the occupied territories of Ukraine (forcible seizure of agricultural products, etc.), but this requires further research.
