The Russian Federation irretrievably lost ships during the attack on the Ship repair plant in Sevastopol

In the near future, the Russians will not be able to replace the damaged ships in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol.

The amphibious assault ship “Minsk” and the submarine missile carrier “Rostov-on-Don” that were hit on September 13 are no longer subject to restoration. This was stated by the head of the Center for Foreign Policy Studies of the National Institute of Strategic Studies, Maksym Palamarchuk, “Ukrinform”reports.

The targets hit were very important to the occupiers. It is noted that during the missile attacks on Odesa, the Rostov-on-Don submarine came quite close to the coast, which made it particularly dangerous. At the same time, the landing ship was used by the Russians to supply personnel, weapons, ammunition and fuel.

The extent of the damage to the Russian large amphibious assault ship “Minsk”

“As for submarines, formally there were seven of them in the Black Sea Fleet. The older, still Soviet “Alros” was returned to service, but it was a purely propaganda gesture. That is, in fact, there are five boats left. The numbers speak best for themselves,” Palamarchuk emphasized.

At the same time, the expert suggests that the damage to the ship repair plant in Sevastopol may be more important than the damage to the ships.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation acknowledged the defeat of its ships, but assured that after repairs, the amphibious ship and the boat “will return to service.”

At the same time, Defense Intelligence representative Andriy Yusov, commenting on the degree of damage to the enemy ships, said that they are definitely beyond repair.
