Ukrzaliznytsia changed rates for the use of wagons in September

At the same time, the rate for grain trucks in September will not change and will be 3271 UAH per car per day excluding VAT.

Ukrzaliznytsia has published the rates of payment for the use of its own rolling stock in September 2026 for transportation on a 1520 mm gauge. This is reported by Rail.Insider.

The cost of some cars will increase, while gondola cars, cement trucks and 60-foot fitting platforms will become cheaper.

The largest increase is 200 UAH per car per day. Tank trucks with a 1435 mm gauge of the Zacns model will become more expensive to 6100 UAH, and 80-foot fitting platforms to 2250 UAH. The rate for timber platforms will increase by 150 UAH – to 1660 UAH.

The price of round-bottomed trucks will increase by another UAH 100 per day – up to UAH 1,498, converted and modernized tanks – up to UAH 6,351, liquefied gas tanks – up to UAH 503, food tanks – up to UAH 1,600, and 40-foot fitting platforms – up to UAH 2,150.

At the same time, the rate for grain trucks in September will not change and will be UAH 3,271 per car per day excluding VAT. Mineral trucks will also remain unchanged – UAH 1,408 and piggyback platforms – UAH 203.

The biggest reduction concerns cement trucks: the rate will decrease by UAH 150, to UAH 1,897 per car per day. Gondola cars will become cheaper by UAH 100 – to UAH 1,750, and 60-foot fitting platforms – to UAH 1,550.

At the same time, Moldovan railways stated that Ukrainian grain does not displace local farmers.
