Romania has not yet created an anchorage for transshipment of Ukrainian grain

The port of Constanta has not yet created an anchorage for raid transshipment of Ukrainian agricultural products.

Earlier it was reported that the first anchorage for raid transshipment of Ukrainian grain was to be launched in the port of Constanta this month. The creation of such a parking lot has already been agreed, but the necessary buoys have not yet been installed.

As Iryna Kosse , an employee of the Institute of Economic Research and Political Consultations, said, the Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA) really advocates the creation of places where grain can be transshipped from a barge to a ship without entering a port.

“This would speed up the work significantly. But at the beginning of November, Mykola Gorbachev noted that despite the promise of the Minister of Transport of Romania to create one such parking lot in October, this was not done. There were hopes that this would happen in November. But it seems that they will not have time in November either.

Even under the Romanians, UGA determined the exact coordinates of such parking lots, we can only agree with them, but something is getting in the way,” Kosse reported.

According to her, in order for the parking lot to work, it is necessary to install two buoys to which the ship will be moored.

“Buoys take about two weeks to install, plus they have to be purchased, delivered and installed. It can also take 3-4 weeks. Some borders are blocked, others cannot set buoys. That’s how we live,” the expert summed up.
