The commander of Russian Black Sea Fleet was probably removed from his post

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost 25 ships and one submarine.

According to unconfirmed information, after the loss of another ship, the Kremlin removed the Commander of the Black Sea Fleet, Viktor Sokolov. This was reported by Crimean Wind.

From August 10, 2022, Sokolov personally gave orders regarding regular combat launches of 3M14 “Kalibr” cruise missiles against the energy infrastructure of Ukraine.

Last year, the SBU notified Sokolov of suspicion under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war committed by a group of persons in accordance with a prior conspiracy; encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine; planning, preparation, unleashing and waging of an aggressive war committed by a group of persons in accordance with a prior conspiracy conspiracy). The perpetrator faces life imprisonment.

It will be recalled that on February 14, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation together with the Defense Intelligfence of the Ministry of Defense destroyed the Large Landing Craft of the Russian Federation “Cesar Kunikov”. Almost 100 occupants could be on board the ship.

“It is symbolic that this is one of the three ships that entered Berdyansk at the beginning of the full-scale invasion to occupy us. You see, there is no escaping fate. The three of them entered then – “Saratov”, “Novocherkask” and “Kunikov”. And now all three of them have gone to the bottom,” commented Dmytro Pletenchuk, the spokesman of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As USM wrote, Defense Intelligence disclosed the details of the destruction of the Russian ship “Caesar Kunikov”.
