The SBG commented on the footage of the battles for gas towers near Zmiinyi

Ukraine retains control over the objects in the Black Sea, which were successfully recaptured from the Russian invaders.

The groups that were liberating the gas production towers near Zmiynyi did everything necessary so that the enemy could no longer control this area. Andriy Demchenko, the spokesman of the SBG, said this, Army Inform writes.

The spokesperson of the border service emphasized that the Defense Forces of Ukraine, in particular the special purpose units of the State Border Service and the State Border Service, constantly perform important tasks in the waters of the Black Sea. The main goal is to ensure control over the territory and prevent the advance of enemy forces.

The military emphasized that control over sea routes and gas production towers is strategically important. In particular, the enemies previously used these towers as bridgeheads for the deployment of weapons and surveillance.

“Our guys, our defenders manage to hold them (ed.: towers), avoid damage from the enemy. Instead, we are the ones who deal blows to the enemy that do not allow him to control this territory,” Demchenko summarized.

Exclusive footage of the reflection of gas production platforms in the Black Sea appeared online the day before. During the operation, the Ukrainian military destroyed enemy weapons.
