The Russians appointed a “director” of the Kherson ports not under their control
The invaders have appointed Russian Vyacheslav Stanotin as the “director” of the Kherson Sea Trade Port and the Kherson River Port.
The Russian invaders have not controlled these facilities, which are located in the right-bank Kherson region, for more than two years, writes the Center for Journalist Investigations.
“The former director of the Samara River Port, Vyacheslav Stanotin, who disappeared from the public eye for a long time, now heads the Kherson Sea Trade Port. Stanotin must not only restore the operation of a large transport hub of strategic importance for Russia, but also join the Kherson River Port, blocked by the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to the seaport,” the report says.
Shortly after Vyacheslav Stanotin was appointed as the “director” of the Kherson Sea Port, the illegal “Ministry of Transport and Transport Infrastructure Development of the Kherson Region” announced the reorganization of the enterprise by merging the State Unitary Enterprise “Kherson River Port” with it.
This decision was made after the Gauleiter of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, stated that the operation of the Richport is currently impossible, since it is located on the right bank of the region.
