There have been fewer grain wagons in the direction of the ports of Great Odesa


In January, the number of grain wagons moving towards the ports of the Odesa region decreased.

This was reported by Valery Tkachev, Director of the Department of Transportation Technology and Commercial Work of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia.

“During January, the daily unloading rate of grain wagons in the ports of Great Odesa fluctuated in the range of 1,000-1,500 wagons per day. The average daily unloading rate of wagons in the ports of Greater Odessa is 1,404 wagons per day. In January, the rate increased by +167 wagons per day or +13.5%,” Valery Tkachev noted.

At the same time, the number of grain wagons moving towards the ports of Great Odesa decreased (decrease from 7,307 wagons to 5,623 wagons, decrease in the availability of wagons -1,684 wagons or -23% in January).

The average daily load of wagons on the network towards the ports of Great Odesa is -1,314 wagons/day, in January the load towards the ports increased by +20 wagons/day or +2.18%.

It should be noted that the accumulation of wagons with grain towards the port of Izmail decreased by -150 wagons or -40.65% (from 369 wagons to 219 wagons).
