Fragments of boom fences washed ashore again in Kerch

In the coastal recreation area in temporarily occupied Kerch, the shore is strewn with metal barrels that no one is cleaning up.

In Kerch, the sea has thrown barrels that are part of the boom barriers onto the coastline in the “Cherepashka” recreation area. This is reported by “Crimean Wind”.

Now, fragments of the destroyed defense structures remain on the coast without any control or cleaning. Local residents have previously dismantled such barrels for metal – after the sea washed them onto the city beach.

According to eyewitnesses, the remains of the barriers have been thrown onto the coast by storms for over a year. The reason was the destruction of the boom fences near the Kerch Bridge during a storm in November 2023. Since then, debris has periodically appeared in different areas of the city.
