Canada imposes sanctions on over 200 “shadow fleet” vessels

Canada has added 201 vessels to the sanctions list, as well as 77 individuals and 39 legal entities.
This was reported by the Canadian Foreign Ministry.
Thus, Canada has added another 201 vessels to the sanctions list, and also introduced new restrictions against vessels that were previously subject to sanctions. In addition, Canada has introduced restrictions on trade in almost 1,000 goods with Russia.
The new import restrictions apply to coal, metals and other goods, the export of which brings income to the Russian Federation.
In addition, Canada has banned its companies from providing any services to vessels included in the sanctions list. In total, there are now more than 300 units.
