SBU detained a Russian agent who was preparing an attack on the Neptune anti-ship complexes

The SBU has detained a Russian “mole” who was preparing an attack by the Russian Federation on Ukrainian anti-ship complexes “Neptune”.
The military counterintelligence of the Security Service, with the assistance of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Commander of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has detained another Russian agent who was spying on the enemy in the Defense Forces, the SBU reported.
The person in question was preparing an air attack by the Russians on Ukrainian missile complexes “Neptune”, which keep the coastal waters of the Black Sea under fire control.
The enemy’s mission was carried out by a 33-year-old serviceman who was recruited by the Russian military intelligence (GRU). He was supposed to pass on to the enemy the geolocations of the unit where he serves and which guards the anti-ship complexes “Neptune” in southern Ukraine.
If the appropriate coordinates were obtained, the enemy planned to carry out a combined strike on them using kamikaze drones and cruise missiles. Before the attack, the curator was to warn the agent to move to a “safe” distance from the fire zone.
The SBU military counterintelligence timely exposed the “mole” and documented his reconnaissance activity. After securing the Defense Forces locations, the person in question was detained while he was preparing an agent “report” for the occupiers.
The agent was informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law). The perpetrator is in custody. He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Earlier, USM reported that the SBU had transferred the legendary Sea Baby naval drone to the museum.
