MTP “Chornomorsk” will hold an auction for cargo transshipment for the first time

The port launches a pilot project on the use of electronic trading for mineral fertilizer transshipment services.

The port of Chornomorsk announced the launch of an open auction for cargo transshipment services in the Prozorro.Sales system. This was reported by the press service of the state-owned enterprise.

This is the first time in the history of the port when such services will be implemented through a transparent electronic platform.

Companies interested in the transshipment of mineral fertilizers are invited to participate. The conditions provide for bulk transshipment from a vessel to a vehicle or a packaging machine, as well as transshipment of big bags by car. The minimum volume of work by the end of 2025 is 100 thousand tons, while the port is ready to process larger batches.

“Launching an auction through Prozorro is not only a transparency tool, but also an opportunity for the company to increase cargo turnover, expand the range of customers and ensure the efficient use of our production facilities. We are open to cooperation and strive to work according to the highest standards of fair competition,” commented Vyacheslav Bezruk, Director of the Chornomorsk Port.

The day before, USM reported that the Chornomorsk port had resumed transshipment of imported steel after a 10-year pause.
