ARMA sold seized Russian metal at auction

The National Agency for Tracing and Asset Management sold the arrested Russian metal at a second auction.
A second auction for the sale of arrested bars and rolled ferrous metals was held on the electronic platform Prozorro.Sales, ARMA reported.
The assets were in railway cars and were loaded for transportation. They were transferred to management by sale to ARMA based on the decision of the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv.
According to the results of the auction, the asset was sold by the private enterprise “TENDER ONLINE” during the second auction. The total sale amount was UAH 23.5 million, including over UAH 15.8 million in customs payments.
The proceeds from the sale of the arrested property will be placed on the ARMA deposit account and will be further directed to the purchase of government bonds to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
Earlier, USM reported that ARMA appointed an acting head of the entity.
