Rental of UZ grain trucks to Romania has increased almost fourfold

The branch of the Transport Logistics Center of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia has put up one lot for 90 grain trucks in the Prozorro.Sales system. The auction took place on September 25.

At the Ukrzaliznytsia auction, the rate for using grain trucks for transportation to Romania increased from the starting UAH 3,371 to UAH 13,043.71 per day per wagon excluding VAT. Rail.insider writes about this.

The winner of the auction was the Vadul-Siretsky Terminal enterprise. The wagons are intended for loading at the Vadul-Siret and Hlyboka-Bukovynska stations. The lot was distributed over three periods in October: 30 wagons each with loading on October 1–5, 11–15 and 21–25.

For transportation, the possibility of changing the wagons to European gauge bogies with a width of 1,435 mm is provided.

As a result of the auction, the daily rate increased 3.9 times and reached UAH 13,043.71 per car excluding VAT.

Also, the day before, USM reported that Ukrzaliznytsia had published a new version of the contract on the organization of freight transportation, which entered into force on October 1.
