Russian bulk carrier with looted grain arrives at Egyptian port

The vessel “Matros Pozynich” under the Russian flag was loaded in occupied Sevastopol. The bulk carrier has already arrived at the anchorage in Alexandria.

According to her, the “Matros Pozynich” (IMO:9573816) arrived at the anchorage in the port of Alexandria with approximately 27 thousand tons. of wheat, loaded at the Avlita terminal in occupied Sevastopol from August 10 to 14.
“The exporter is the Khlebkom company (TIN 2308100890) from Krasnodar, which is engaged in the theft of grain from the occupied Ukrainian territories,” Kateryna Yaresko reported.
The Defense Intelligence portal of the Ministry of Defense War&Sanctions noted that Ukraine reported suspicions to the captain of a ship who, in violation of the legislation and norms of international maritime law, made illegal entries/exits of the ship to/from the closed Sevastopol sea commercial port. The Ukrainian court also arrested the ship Matros Pozynich in absentia.
As previously reported by USM, since the beginning of the harvest, Russia has stolen 2.5 million tons of wheat from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions.
