Kernel appoints new director of production asset management

Kernel has undergone functional changes in its management team – a new director for production asset management has been appointed.

From August 19, Grigory Kapustyan has become the new director, Kernel reported.

His area of responsibility will include the activities of the company’s oil extraction plants, as well as the direction of agricultural product storage.

Kapustyan has been working at Kernel since 2005, starting his career as a bottling line operator at the Poltava SEZ and eventually taking up managerial positions at the company’s plants. For the past few years, he has headed the flagship Starokostyantynivka oil extraction plant. He has a degree from the National University of Food Technologies with a degree in “Automated Process Management”.

Previously, this position was held by Yuriy Pugach. He will continue to provide expert and consulting services to the agroholding, as well as support the Production Assets Division in strategic development issues.

Kernel said that for more than 16 years under the leadership of Pugach, teams have implemented digital tools, improved functions, conducted accreditation and certification of facilities, implemented large-scale projects for the construction, reconstruction and modernization of elevators and factories, and the transition to “green” energy.

USM previously reported that Kernel provided a full report for the 2025 fiscal year.
