International partners will help repair the Odesa port after Russian attacks

International partners have provided assistance to repair damaged civilian infrastructure in the port, which was affected by Russian missile strikes.
The international organization Global Empowerment Mission (GEM), with the support of the Howard Buffett Foundation, has provided the Odesa Port with over 300 window structures with a total area of about 1,300 m2. This was reported by the Port Authority.
The materials were allocated free of charge for the restoration of civilian infrastructure damaged during the Russian attacks. Installation is also carried out by the Foundation.

“Cooperation with international partners, which we carry out on an ongoing basis, is extremely important for the preservation and restoration of port infrastructure. We are grateful for the support in this difficult time,” said Dmitro Nazarenko, Head of the Public Service Fund of the State Enterprise “USPA”.
The parties also agreed on further coordination and determination of the following areas of assistance.
As USM recently wrote, the Odesa Port has ordered thermal modernization of the car depot for over UAH 22 million.
