The USPA discussed the restoration of port infrastructure and port operations

The State Enterprise “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority” presented plans for the restoration of the port industry at the South Ukrainian Forum, where a number of other important topics were also discussed.
This was reported by the press service of the agency.
At the forum, the advisor to the head of the USPA on operational issues, Vyacheslav Kharkavenko, emphasized that despite significant infrastructure losses as a result of the war, the company ensures stable operation of seaports.
“Our main task is to restore port infrastructure and fleet. This will be done both at the expense of our own resources and with the support of international funds and grant programs,” Kharkavenko noted.
The forum participants also discussed the functioning of the Ukrainian sea corridor, the development of Danube ports, the operation of the Bystre canal, as well as the digitalization of port services.
The USPA noted that it is important for the agency to hear feedback from market participants, which allows it to form port development plans in accordance with the real needs of the industry and increase the efficiency of management decisions.
Earlier, the USPA announced a tender for the overhaul of the berth in the port of Chornomorsk.
