New trade rules between Ukraine and the EU have come into force

From October 29, 2025, new trade rules between Ukraine and the EU came into force, which provide for the expansion of tariff quotas and the reduction of import duties for Ukrainian goods.

The new rules open a new stage in the development of economic cooperation and create additional opportunities for Ukrainian exporters, the State Customs Service commented.

According to Decision No. 3/2025, adopted within the framework of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, import duty rates will be canceled or significantly reduced, and the volumes of tariff quotas for Ukrainian agricultural products when exported to the European Union countries will be increased.

For Ukraine, this is a significant signal of deepening integration with the EU, which increases investment attractiveness and strengthens the competitiveness of Ukrainian producers.

Updated information on tariff quotas for 2025 was posted on the state web portal “Single Window for International Trade”

Earlier, USM reported that Ukraine and the EU had agreed on new trade conditions.
