GPS spoofing: a cluster of Russian infringing vessels is “recorded” in the Baltic Sea

The vessels “Siberia”, “Grumant”, “Viktor Zabelin”, and “SMP Severodvinsk”, which suddenly “found themselves” in the same area, were in the Black Sea with their AIS turned off.
This was reported by the journalist of the SeaKrime project Kateryna Yaresko.
Thus, the vessel Siberia (IMO:9239458) was in occupied Feodosia on November 3, the vessels Grumant (IMO:9385879) and Viktor Zabelin (IMO: 9210256) were in the Black Sea, and the SMP Severodvinsk is being repaired in occupied Sevastopol.
Another vessel among the crowd in the Baltic Sea – Lady R (IMO:9161003) is actually in the Far East, in the port of Vostochny, and its signal is next to the vessels from the Black Sea.
“How could they “meet” in the Baltic? We have been observing the spoofing of violators for a long time, but this case is different. Previously, it seemed that the ships themselves were cheating with the AIS signal, or they were in an anomalous point – and they were massively diverted, for example, to the runway of Simferopol airport. But this picture, which has formed in the Baltic Sea, clearly has a different origin,” said Kateryna Yaresko.
It is assumed that the signals of the ships were diverted centrally, and interference in the operation of shipping systems is carried out at the state level.
