Russian Railways restricts transportation to Tuapse port after drone attack

The Russian state-owned company Russian Railways has restricted freight transportation to the port of Tuapse on the Black Sea.

This was reported by  Rail.insider.

Initially, the restrictions were introduced from November 6 to 8. However, they were later extended until at least November 13. The restrictions apply to loading cargo in the direction of the Tuapse-sorting and Tuapse-sorting-export stations. The type of cargo is not specified, but it is known that the port mainly handles oil products and other export goods.

The reason for the restrictions was damage to the infrastructure of the oil terminal in Tuapse as a result of a drone attack.

As a reminder, on the night of November 10, naval drones attacked the Russian city of Tuapse on the Black Sea coast.

Earlier, USM reported that as a result of the drone strike, the Rosneft refinery in Tuapse stopped working, and the export of oil products through the port was completely stopped.
