Truck parking lot to be restored on the way to Izmail port


Izmail is looking for a contractor to restore the parking lot for heavy-duty vehicles on the way to the transshipment points of the Izmail Sea Trade Port.

The tender was announced by the Housing and Communal Services Department of the Izmail City Council, according to the Prozorro public procurement website.

The cost of the contract is UAH 21 million 462 thousand.

The truck parking lot is planned to be restored within six months, and all necessary work under the contract should be completed by the end of 2027.

The working project for the overhaul of the parking lot in 2025 was carried out by the Kyiv private enterprise Inzhdorbud. In October, the customer approved the document. The project envisages the operation of the site for heavy-duty vehicles for 22 years.

The tender documentation indicates that the contractor company will carry out major repairs of driveways, parking lots, sidewalks and adjacent infrastructure within the specified period with a complete replacement of the coating and renewal of engineering elements. In particular, drainage and storm sewers will be laid, new drainage trays will be replaced and installed, manholes and ceilings will be repaired, and elements will be waterproofed. As part of the improvement, curbs and curbs will be installed, a site for garbage containers will be equipped, slopes will be strengthened and green areas will be sown with grass, and new garbage cans will be installed.

New road signs will be dismantled and installed in the adjacent territory, as well as horizontal road markings will be applied.

It should be noted that the auction during which the contractor company will be selected will be held on January 11, 2026.

As previously reported by USM, the USPA will purchase new fire and rescue vehicles for the ports of Odesa and Chornomorsk. The new vehicles will replace equipment that has been in operation for a long time and is physically outdated.
