A pirate ship with a cargo of wheat is heading from occupied Mariupol to the port of Egypt

The Irkutsk vessel (IMO:9419084) loaded over 8 thousand tons of stolen wheat in the port of occupied Mariupol.
This was reported by the journalist of the SeaKrime project of the Myrotvorets Center, Kateryna Yaresko.
According to her, the Irkutsk is currently heading to Alexandria (Egypt) from occupied Mariupol with a cargo of 8178.1 tons of wheat.
“Exporter: Mostagro (TIN 9701208412). The loading took place in occupied Mariupol from January 28 to 31. The vessel sailed with the AIS turned off from January 22 to February 8,” Kateryna Yaresko reported.
The Defense Intelligence War&Sanctions portal reported that in February 2024, the SBU reported suspicions to the vessel’s captain of violating the procedure for entry/exit to/from the territorial sea of Ukraine.
In particular, it is known that this vessel, formerly known as Salvinia, transported ilmenite (the main raw material for titanium production) from Chornomorsk to the Romanian port of Constanta, from where the raw material was picked up by the sanctioned Syrian vessel Souria (new name – San Damian, IMO:9274331) and delivered to the temporarily occupied Feodosia.
During 2024-2025, the vessel exported, in particular to Egypt, about 40 thousand tons of Ukrainian coking coal from the temporarily occupied Ukrainian port of Mariupol, using the following scheme: officially enters the Russian port of Temryuk; turns off the automatic identification system (AIS); goes to the port of Mariupol for loading; returns to Temryuk with the cargo; turns on the AIS; goes to the port of destination.
Earlier, USM reported that the Russian bulk carrier IRTYSH is transporting stolen Ukrainian wheat from Crimea to Djibouti.
