Oil exports by rail increased by 41% in February

The volume of oil transportation for export in February amounted to 86 thousand tons. Compared to January, the growth reaches 41%, and by February last year – 19%.

This was discussed during an online meeting of representatives of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” with agricultural market participants on February 19, writes RAIL.insider.

Thus, two-thirds of the volume (66%) was exported through western border crossings, and 34% – through ports.

The transportation indicator of meal and cake in February amounted to 151 thousand tons. This is 4% less than in January, but 15% more than in February 2025. Of the mentioned volume, 75% is transported through western border crossings, and 25% – through ports.

Earlier, USM said that agricultural products provided 56% of Ukraine’s exports in 2025, despite the decrease in the share.
