Russia plans to supply agricultural products from the occupied Kherson region to the DPRK

The occupation administration is negotiating with North Korea on the export of oil and flour, which indicates the expansion of sales schemes for products from the temporarily occupied territories.
Representatives of the occupation authorities of the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region discussed with North Korea the possibility of establishing supplies of agricultural products. This is reported by Korea JoongAng Daily.
In particular, the Russian-appointed “governor” of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, held a meeting with the DPRK ambassador, Shin Hong-chol, in Moscow.
According to the head of the occupation administration, the parties discussed the prospects for the export of processed products, in particular vegetable oil, flour and other food products. He emphasized that North Korea’s need for food “is well-matched” with the agricultural potential of the region.
At the same time, such cooperation is considered part of Russia’s broader strategy for the export of products exported from the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories, which is used to support the economy of totalitarian regimes and finance the war.
