Israeli importer refuses stolen Ukrainian grain due to risk of sanctions

An Israeli importing company has refused to unload grain stolen by Russia in Ukraine in Haifa due to the risk of international sanctions.

This is reported by Ukrinform.

Thus, the company “Centsiper”, which is one of the largest importers of grain to Israel, refused a cargo of stolen Ukrainian grain that the Russians sent to Haifa.

The company informed the supplier that it would have to look for another port to unload the ship.

According to local media, Israeli importers are afraid of falling under European sanctions. They also accuse their government of a lack of assistance and information support.

As a reminder, Ukraine sent Israel a package of documents for the arrest of a Russian vessel with stolen Ukrainian grain.

As previously reported by USM, the bulk carrier “Panormitis” is transporting more than 25 thousand tons of grain to Haifa, some of which is documented to be connected with supplies from occupied Berdyansk.
