Russian bulk carrier loaded another shipment of stolen Ukrainian grain in Crimea

The Irtysh vessel loaded approximately 32-35 thousand tons of wheat at the Avlita grain terminal in occupied Sevastopol and indicates Djibouti as the port of destination.

This was reported by Kateryna Yaresko, a journalist for the SeaKrime project of the Myrotvorets Center.

According to her, the Irtysh indicates Djibouti as the port of destination. At the same time, this port may only be an intermediate point on the route, after which the cargo can go to the port of Salif in Yemen, which is controlled by the Houthis. The Russian company Tritikum Group is indicated as the exporter of the cargo.

As the journalist notes, it is through Djibouti that inspections are carried out within the framework of UN mechanisms, after which ships receive permission to proceed to Yemeni ports. The Ukrainian side and international media have previously repeatedly drawn attention to the risks of using such routes to deliver grain exported from the occupied Ukrainian territories.

The Avlita terminal in occupied Sevastopol has repeatedly appeared in investigations into the export of Ukrainian grain from temporarily occupied territories. Russia systematically sends agricultural products through the occupied Crimean ports, the origin of which is hidden or registered through Russian companies.

Earlier, we reported that the bulk carrier Irtysh (IMO: 9664976) arrived at the port of Samsun (Turkey) for unloading with 33 thousand tons of stolen wheat.
