Russian UAV in the Black Sea off the coast of Bulgaria

A specialized group of the Bulgarian Navy has eliminated a Russian drone-interceptor “Molniya-P”, which was discovered in the Black Sea.

This was reported by the press service of the Bulgarian Navy.

The unknown drone was first recorded in the sea at a distance of about 1.8 km east of the resort complex “Albena”.

“The detachment involved in the operation for reconnaissance, marking, extraction, transportation and destruction of unexploded ordnance acted on the basis of a direct order of the Commander of the Bulgarian Navy,” the department reported.

According to preliminary information, the object neutralized at sea was an enemy drone-interceptor “Molniya-P”.

Recall that last year the Bulgarian Navy neutralized a naval drone that was thrown off near Varna. The operation continued under the control of NATO forces and ended without incidents for shipping.
