Ukraine and Egypt discussed shipping safety in the Black Sea

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha had a telephone conversation with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatti.
Sybiha reported this on the social network X.
According to him, the parties paid special attention to the security situation in the Black Sea and its consequences for freedom of navigation and global food security.
Sybiha stressed that Ukraine remains committed to ensuring reliable food supplies to the countries of the world.
During the conversation, the Ukrainian minister also informed his Egyptian counterpart about the latest developments on the front and Ukraine’s efforts to achieve lasting and comprehensive peace. In addition, the parties discussed the broader regional situation and events in the Middle East.
Sybiga and Abdelatti agreed to continue the dialogue and stay in touch.
Earlier, USM reported that Turkey wants to return to the “grain corridor” format in the Black Sea.
