Russia attacked the Bunge plant in Dnipro

On September 10, Russian troops attacked the Oleina plant in the center of Dnipro, which belongs to the American corporation Bunge.
This was reported by the mayor of Dnipro, Boris Filatov.
According to him, the plant has already been repeatedly subjected to Russian strikes. Recently, the plant was also visited by American Senator Richard Blumenthal during a visit to Ukraine.
During the day, Russia attacked the Dnipro twice. As a result of the strikes on the food enterprise, two people were killed and five more were injured, including a child.
After the second attack, a fire broke out on the territory of the enterprise. Information about the damage was confirmed by the State Emergency Service and the Dnipropetrovsk OVA.
Before the strikes, the Air Force warned about the movement of “Banderol” type loitering munitions in the direction of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Bunge is one of the largest international agro-industrial companies. In Ukraine, the corporation operates, in particular, in the segment of vegetable oil production and processing.
As a reminder, on January 5, the Russians attacked the Dnipro oil extraction plant, owned by the American company Bunge. As a result of the drone attack, 300 tons of oil spilled onto the roads of the Dnipro.
