A new model of the Russian “Gerbera” drone was found on the coast of Poland

The device is in very good technical condition, which will allow specialists to examine its design in detail.
The drone was found on Monday on the beach in Rusinów near Jarosławec in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. This is reported by RMF24.
The drone may be a new model of the Russian Gerbera drone. Previously, Polish services have not analyzed such devices.
The spokesman for the Chief Commandant of the Polish Military Gendarmerie, Lieutenant Colonel Dariusz Rozkos, reported that the studies did not reveal any radiation, chemical or biological threat. The drone is currently being checked for explosive and pyrotechnic substances.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense of Poland Wladyslaw Kosińska-Kamyśl noted that the device is in very good technical condition. This will allow Polish specialists to analyze in detail the technological solutions used by the Russian side. According to him, this drone may be more advanced than those studied earlier.
According to preliminary data, the drone did not have a warhead. However, it could have contained a small amount of explosives for self-destruction in the event of a threat of capture.
Kosiniak-Kamysz stressed that there are currently no signs that the drone was deliberately directed towards Poland. Final conclusions regarding its type, origin and circumstances of its appearance on the coast will be made after the completion of the research.
Also recently, fragments of drones with explosives were found on the coast and in the Black Sea in Romania.
