Moldovan Railways announced a tender for the repair of the track to the border with Ukraine

State Enterprise “Moldova Railways” (CFM) has announced a tender for the design of the repair of 183.3 km of railway track towards the Ukrainian border.

This was announced by the company.

The works are planned for the section Velchynets-Ocnica-Balti-Ungheni-Chisinau-Keinar. In particular, 96 km of the track are to undergo medium repair, 64 km – capital repair, and another 23 km are planned for lifting and straightening.

The design will cover the main railway track and related infrastructure: the upper structure of the track, the earthwork, water drainage and drainage systems, engineering structures, retaining walls and railway crossings.

The aim of the works is to restore the initial technical and operational parameters of these railway sections.
