AMEU collects data on companies with cargo blocked on the Harrison

The Association of International Freight Forwarders of Ukraine is forming a database of companies whose cargo remains blocked on the Harrison vessel.

This was reported by AMEU.

In connection with the situation, a meeting of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine with the State Tax Service has been initiated. AMEU plans to present during the negotiations generalized information on the problems encountered by cargo owners.

This concerns, in particular, companies that, due to the blocking of cargo, cannot fulfill their tax obligations in the field of currency control.

To form the database, the Association asks cargo owners to provide the name of the company and the EDRPOU code, the status of the cargo, a list of unfulfilled obligations and container numbers.

AMEU noted that more complete information on the scale of the problem should strengthen the position of business during the dialogue with the State Tax Service.

Harrison is a feeder container ship (IMO 9220079), built in 2002, with a capacity of approximately 1,197 TEU, under the flag of the Marshall Islands. The vessel is operated by Unifeeder (Denmark).

Harrison operated on the Port Said – Chornomorsk feeder service, launched by Unimed/Unifeeder in October 2024. The vessel’s last voyage to Chornomorsk in the operator’s published schedule is dated July 2026. Since July 22, the service to the Chornomorsk fishing port has been suspended, and cargoes via Port Said have begun to be redirected to Constanta.

The reasons why the cargo on the vessel remains blocked were not specified by the AMEU in the message.

Earlier, USM reported that ship calls in Great Odesa have fallen by almost 20 times, cargoes are being reoriented to the Danube.
