Access railway tracks will be repaired in the port of Mykolaiv

Major repairs of access railway tracks and turnouts will be carried out in the Mykolaiv port. The renovation is scheduled for 2022.
The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine has published the financial plan of the Mykolaiv port for 2022. According to the plan, the MIU will allocate UAH 9.6 million (USD 364.4 thousand) for the repair of railway tracks.
In total, State Enterprise “Mykolaiv CSP” has 10.78 km of access railway tracks, which, through the tracks of the Mykolaiv branch of State Enterprise “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority”, adjoin the public roads of Mykolaiv-Gruzovoy station and Mykolaiv-Rudny park, as well as Mykolaiv-Gruzovoy station of regional branch “Odesa Railway” of the Ukrzaliznytsia JSC.
After checking the technical condition of the railway tracks, it turned out that overhaul is required for 8 km. ways, as well as turnouts.
