A vessel with coal for a thermal power plant is unloaded in the port of Chornomorsk


LLC “Euro-Reconstruction” has contracted two vessels with coal for three Ukrainian thermal power plants.

The total tonnage of coal is 130 thousand tons, the press service of the company noted.

The first vessel is being already unloaded in the port of Chornomorsk – the bulk carrier Key Knight (Liberian flag) has delivered 74,000 tons of thermal coal to Ukraine. The vessel moored at the berth No. 1 of the first cargo area of ​​the State Enterprise “Commercial Seaport Chornomorsk” on February 19th.

After unloading, the coal will be delivered by wagons to the warehouses of Darnytsia, Chernyhiv and Sumy thermal power plants. In addition, Ukrainian ports are expecting another vessel with South African coal. After its unloading, 56 thousand tons of coal from South Africa will also be delivered to the thermal power plant.
