Ukraine exported more than 1 million tons of wheat per month
September is the first month since the beginning of the war, during which Ukraine was able to export more than one million tons of wheat.
As of September 21, 1 million 110 thousand tons of wheat were exported from our country, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Taras Kachka said.
Total exports for the three weeks of September amounted to 6.47 million tons, including:
- Corn — 1.38 million tons;
- Wheat — 1.11 million tons;
- Ores — 1.09 million tons;
- Rape — 562 thousand tons;
- Oils — 338 thousand tons;
- Barley — 275 thousand tons.
“Everyone who is worried about domestic food security – this year’s wheat harvest is 19.2 million tons,” Kachka summarized.
