The second LNG storage vessel has arrived in Germany

The second floating LNG storage and regasification unit (FSRU) Neptune has arrived in the German port of Lubmin.
FSRU Neptune entered the port area of Lubmin on December 18 accompanied by six tugs, Eikland Energy iGIS/LNG reported. The vessel can hold 145,130 cubic meters of LNG.
Recently, the Höegh Esperanza regasification unit with 165,000 cubic meters of LNG arrived at the port of Wilhelmshaven.
Another ship, the Höegh Gannet, is also due to arrive at the port of Brunsbüttel soon.
In total, Höegh Esperanza, Gannet and Neptune will be able to regasify 17.5 billion cubic meters of LNG per year. This is about a third of the volume of gas that the country previously ordered from Russia, the Financial Times writes.
